Our Voluntary Work Placement Scheme

The Pathways Voluntary Work Placement Scheme lies at the heart of all our enterprises. Each placement is tailored to the needs of the individual, but all focus on improving our trainees' employment prospects and identifying any barriers that may prevent them from securing employment in the future.

In the initial three month period, our trainees develop vocational skills in their chosen area of work. After three months, the placement is reviewed. It may be extended or the trainee may progress to college-based training or paid employment. At the end of the placement, the trainee always benefits from having a contemporary work record and reference.
